We offer a comprehensive acute care program, which is designed to minimize an employee's lost time and return injured workers back to a functional status as soon as possible. We utilize appropriate care to the injured worker, while working closely with the company to keep overall costs down. Our clinics have convenient expanded hours, so that employees requiring physical therapy can be treated before or after work, which reduces lost time from their job.

We can visit companies and instruct safety meetings, back care classes and lifting seminars. If someone has returned to work following an injury and is having difficulty resuming full duties, we can perform on-site job coaching. This will remind the employee of the importance of proper posture and good body mechanics.

If a company is changing equipment, or is having a significant number of injuries in a particular area, we can perform a job site analysis and evaluate the need for modification, job rotation and work station adjustability.

Overall, at Harvard Rehab Group and Sports Medicine Centers, we feel it is necessary that everyone involved be kept up to date on the status of all injured workers. This will include the physician, risk manager, adjustor and case manager.
